Left floats Obama Dictatorship possibility

The prospect of Dear Leader ZerO becoming a dictator was made public by the left. On Monday March 30, 2009 Daily News Show with Jon Stewart, Jon Stewart was interviewing Jack Cafferty. Jon Stewart floated that since no one knew what to do about Americas troubles, that Dear Leader ZerO's children should be put in charge of different government agencies and we should just go with a Dictatorship and see how it goes.

If Jon Stewart and Jack Cafferty are on a version of the Jlist or the Jlist itself, this may be the new talking point of the left. Bringing it up on a 'comedy' news show could be way of giving them an 'out'. They could reasonably claim it as a joke. However, a recent survey indicated that about 36% view with favoribility Jon Stewart's show. This would make it an excellent testing platform for the idea.

The repetition of this prospect on other venues and how well the youth who saw the show begin to 'spontaneously' sport Dear Leader ZerO Dictatorship slogans and t-shirts will indicate the acceptance of the proposal.

Mandatory Child National Service for Dear Leader ZerO

Dear Leader ZerO is continuing his 'Central Cause' to obtain a 'mandatory volunteer' organization comprising of your children. Originally in H.R. 1388 last week but striped out before the final vote, the commission to discover a way to require mandatory volunteer service of High School children has been returned in H.R. 1444.
Rep. Jim McDermott (D) has introduced H.R. 1444 and it has been assigned to the House Committee on Labor and Education.

The bill, under Section 4 (b)6, states:

Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.

It includes other sections for creating amongst other things a:
"public service academy, a four-year institution that offers a federally funded undergraduate education with a focus on training future public sector leaders"
No doubt Bill Ayers will be Dean.
And lest us not leave out our Primary School students, we shall review,
"the means to develop awareness of national service and volunteer opportunities at a young age by creating, expanding and promoting service options for primary and secondary school students and by raising awareness of existing incentives."
"Existing incentives", toe the party line or...

I can not fathom why they keep introducing this stuff. They are all like Tim Geithner and just do not realize how 'radical' the proposals they are coming up with are. Government takeover of our children, indoctrination to "strengthen the social fabric". Parents teach children the social values they deem important, things like love of family, kindness to the less fortunate, helping out your neighbors in trouble. Now we are to send children off to learn the values of a government bureaucrat.

Dear Leader's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, wrote a book a few years back. It is called 'The Plan'. In it he proposed that all young people age 18-25 be required to spend 3 months in civil service. In an interview he declared that "we would be stronger" if there was a mandatory civil service. I am still wondering who the 'we' are he is referring to.

Dear Leader ZerO and his cronies will continue to push for the indoctrination of your children into his Marxist vision of America. It will be a long four years of constantly watching for them to sneak in the underpinnings of creating a 'mandatory volunteer' force that will be able to visit your neighbors and push any of Dear Leader ZerO's agenda.

Similar to the push that occured Saturday March 21st 2009, 'volunteers' for 'community service' helped to 'explain' the 'need' for Dear Leader's Budget. From a story in Birmingham News.
"We're looking for supporters," said DeHaven of Hoover, one of the event's organizers. "We're not looking for a fight. That will come later, when we have an army."
The volunteers are part of Organizing for America, the same grassroots, national network credited in large part with Obama's quick rise from obscurity to president. Birmingham and 11 other sites statewide were part of a national push this weekend by Organizing for America to trumpet Obama's spending proposal.
DeHaven no doubt is waiting for the "civilian security force. just as strong, just as well funded as our military" that Dear Leader promised him during the campaign. Then he can go "looking for a fight."
Dear Leader has a web site, USAService, for the beginnings of the recruitment effort to start his civilian service. Sign your children up now, no doubt the 'early volunteers' will be held in higher esteem and promoted better than the 'mandatory' recruits.

The Draft is BACK

Dear Leader's central cause for his agenda has passed the House of Representatives. His Civilian Service programs have moved forward in more feel good and misnamed legislation called Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act commonly referred to as the GIVE Act. The United States Senate version is called the Serve America Act. The House Bill is H.R. 1388, the Senate is S. 277. On March 18th, 2009, the House version passed with a vote of 321-105. This legislation is to fund Community Services with High School through College year students at a cost in 2010 of $3 per year per American. Like recent legislation that has passed Congress, the GIVE Act includes amendments, the future ramifications of which seem to be beyond the comprehension of most in Congress. At least I hope it is only stupidity that allows these things to get into laws and it is not on purpose with full and complete understanding by all who vote Aye. In H.R. 1388, in section 6104 there is a subsection called (b). In it, the newly formed Congressional Commission on Civil Service is tasked to explore some interesting concepts.
(6) Whether a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed, and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the Nation and overcome civic challenges by bringing together people from diverse economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.

Sign up now, no doubt the 'early volunteers' will be held in higher esteem and promoted better than the 'mandatory' recruits. From our Dear Leaders official website http://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/service/ we find the following statement REQUIRING service.
Require 100 Hours of Service in College: Establish a new American Opportunity Tax Credit worth $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.
As well as the statement:
Promote College Serve-Study: Ensure that at least 25 percent of College Work-Study funds are used to support public service opportunities
I suppose this will be credit classes for students to spend one quarter of their time at school doing Civil Service with organizations like ACORN. Or pushing Dear Leaders agenda like the current Budget push at Organizing for America which occurred across America this past Saturday reported in Birmingham News and CNN. Previously, when Dear Leader - elect Obama was outlining his promise to 'fix' America, he had on his Change.Gov web site on the America Serves page.
America Serves “When you choose to serve — whether it’s your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood — you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That’s why it’s called the American dream.” The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.
A Google cached copy is at America Serves Cache Copy From Nov. 7th 2008. A screen shot of the Google cached copy is at America Serves Cache Copy From Nov. 7th 2008. I suppose anyone that doesn't meet the 50 hours of service (100 for college age) will be able to fulfill their requirement at re-education centers. Our Dear Leader will will no doubt have his thralls in joyous rapture over the prospect of involuntary servitude for the betterment of The Dear Leaders pet programs. Maybe sweeping the streets of his ideal city to keep them pristine, or signing up more and more registered 'Progressive' Democrats, or harassing rich people ( the new villainous class for the 'O shirts' to blame for all the woes of the world ) to give mortgage loans to people that can never pay them back. After getting some flak over some constitutional conflicts, the constitutional lawyer, the then Dear Leader - elect stealth changed the web page. The changes between the copies is in bold.

President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.
The change.gov stealth edited and changed copy is at America Serves . The Change.gov modified text says it's a goal. Now that he is in office, the path he is on is more to the promise of the original version. For a constitutional lawyer, you would think he would remember the amendment to the constitution over involuntary servitude that we fought a civil war over. O, that's right, it was a REPUBLICAN president, the founder of the Republican party, the party invented to abolish slavery, the party created by Abraham Lincoln, that pushed for that change. It doesn't count. This is just another example of the problems in the constitution that the Warren Court didn't fix and now he will.

Constitutional Amendment XIII

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
I don't suppose this will be a problem for him now that he is Dear Leader and will 'fix' the broken constitution that the Warren Court didn't go far enough to fix to his liking. After all, congress is legislating the changes he wants, and he can still appoint judges, including the Supreme Court, to 'fix' the constitution if it will impede his 'central cause'. The constitution only says what the government 'must not' do. It doesn't say what it 'must' do. Perhaps the constitutional lawyer in our Dear Leader will 'fix' the constitution so that the government can develop a 'workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement' for young citizens to serve his whim and whimsy. With Congress passing his dreamed for legislation he may not need to issue Executive Orders, even though they are so much fun to use.

The Nouveau Welfare Class

So I was at the grocery store last Friday, the 13th of March 2009, buying my weekly groceries. Shopping went normally. Grapes where running $1.49 a pound, so I picked up a small bag to add to my bananas for fruit for the week. Near the checkout, the 12 or less line was empty, but I passed by it to go to the normal amount of groceries line, since I usually have more than 12 items even though I shop only for myself. One young man was in line, who was completing his purchase of what looked to be about one plastic bag of groceries. I figured that would be fine, he would be done fairly quickly.

I pushed my cart in and walked around to the front of it to unload the contents onto the rolling counter. As I walked around, the young man approached me. He began talking, "Excuse me, could you help me out?" he inquired in a slurred voice with an alcoholic drink smell to his voice. "O, great!" I thought to myself, a beggar. Sometimes in parking lots I have been approached with similar inquiries by beggars asking for cash to buy gas so they can get enough to drive home they say.  This was the first time I was approached in the line buying groceries, so I answered non-committedly "Huh?".

He explained further. "Look, can I buy your groceries with my food stamps and you give me the cash? I need to buy some beer. Can you help me out?"

Hmmm... this was some new type of begging. Surprised at the proposition, I replied "Sorry, I am using food stamps as well, and have no cash." He responded with "No problem, just hoped you could help me out to get some beer money, ya' know." He left me, walked over to the counter, picked up his bag of groceries and sauntered off unsteadily towards the door.

As I unloaded my groceries after this encounter, the cashier and the grocery bagger remarked to each other, "He sure seemed weird." Overhearing this, I remarked "He was drunk, could smell it when he talked to me."

"O, what was he talking to you about?" one of them inquired. So I briefly informed them of the gist of the conversation. One of them then remarked to the other, "See, I told you that's what some of them do. They trade their food stamps in for cash and buy drugs and stuff. He didn't even look like he needed food stamps." More remarks of a similar nature where made between them as I completed my check out, as one explained to the other to watch for similar actions.

As I left and reflected on the episode, I started to wonder. How did a seemingly healthy mid 20's man get food stamps that he apparently didn't need as much as he needed beer? Was beer the only drug which he was using food stamp money for? Was he one of the newly qualified for food stamps that the stimulus bill allowed? How many more such as him would be qualified with the new expanded Obama plans going into effect?

How many really sick, elderly, and hungry children where getting less than they needed so that Obama could let more people like him game the system for free alcohol and drug money? Soon the really needy will be pushed aside and marginalized by the nouveau welfare class who spend their days gaming the system to become unproductive parasites and vote themselves more and more.
