The Whitehouse has posted a request for their "brownshirts" to start snitching on their neighbors and friends. On August 4th 2009, the Whitehouse posted a request for information on anyone spreading opposition information on 'Government centric healthcare', meaning anyone opposed to government controlled healthcare. THE PRESIDENT: Well, we're going to be traveling to Saudi Arabia; I'll be having discussions with King Abdullah. And then we'll travel to Cairo, in which I am delivering on a promise I made during the campaign to provide a framework, a speech of how I think we can remake relations between the United States and countries in the Muslim world.

Now, I think it's very important to understand that one speech is not going to solve all the problems in the Middle East. And so I think expectations should be somewhat modest.

 

What I want to do is to create a better dialogue so that the Muslim world understands more effectively how the United States but also how the West thinks about many of these difficult issues like terrorism, like democracy, to discuss the framework for what's happened in Iraq and Afghanistan and our outreach to Iran, and also how we view the prospects for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

 

Now, the flip side is I think that the United States and the West generally, we have to educate ourselves more effectively on Islam. And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslims Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world. And so there's got to be a better dialogue and a better understanding between the two peoples.

Dear Leader's central cause for his agenda has passed the House of Representatives. His Civilian Service programs have moved forward in more feel good and misnamed legislation called Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act commonly referred to as the GIVE Act. The United States Senate version is called the Serve America Act. The House Bill is H.R. 1388, the Senate is S. 277. On March 18th, 2009, the House version passed with a vote of 321-105. This legislation is to fund Community Services with High School through College year students at a cost in 2010 of $3 per year per American. Like recent legislation that has passed Congress, the GIVE Act includes amendments, the future ramifications of which seem to be beyond the comprehension of most in Congress. At least I hope it is only stupidity that allows these things to get into laws and it is not on purpose with full and complete understanding by all who vote Aye. In H.R. 1388, in section 6104 there is a subsection called (b). In it, the newly formed Congressional Commission on Civil Service is tasked to explore some interesting concepts.

Dear Leader's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, wrote a book a few years back. It is called 'The Plan'. In it he proposed that all young people age 18-25 be required to spend 3 months in civil service. In an interview he declared that "we would be stronger" if there was a mandatory civil service. I am still wondering who the 'we' are he is referring to. This past Saturday, 'volunteers' for 'community service' helped to 'explain' the 'need' for Dear Leader's Budget. From a story in Birmingham News.

Require 100 Hours of Service in College: Establish a new American Opportunity Tax Credit worth $4,000 a year in exchange for 100 hours of public service a year.

I suppose this will be credit classes for students to spend one quarter of their time at school doing Civil Service with organizations like ACORN. Or pushing Dear Leaders agenda like the current Budget push at Organizing for America which occurred across America this past Saturday reported in Birmingham News and CNN. For a constitutional lawyer, you would think he would remember the amendment to the constitution over involuntary servitude that we fought a civil war over. O, that's right, it was a REPUBLICAN president, the founder of the Republican party, the party invented to abolish slavery, the party created by Abraham Lincoln, that pushed for that change. It doesn't count. This is just another example of the problems in the constitution that the Warren Court didn't fix and now he will.

Junior Senator Barack Obama calls for a National Security Force. On July 2 2008, he gave a stump speech with 2 sentences that where not in the written speech. Added because Barack Obama practiced the speech with them in it no doubt. But his handlers obviously removed them from the written speech and probably advised him not to say them. I suppose this is part of what the close to $1 trillion dollars he wants to spend in his first year in office will go to. Take the money from the greedy rich class and spread the wealth around. This is an article written some time ago. I feel it is time for a review. The possibilities of the outcome of the 2008 Presidential election requires that we revisit the concept proposed. If Barack Obama wins, we may be entering the 8th sequence.

About the time our original 13 states adopted their new constitution, in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2000 years prior:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the tax-paying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements living off government welfare...

 

" Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency & apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some 40 percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
